Your brochure will speak about your brand long after you have left the room. Be sure to have one that speaks well about you.
1. Review your copy.
This is very important and is often neglected. Reviewing does not contain itself to just proofreading. Know what you want to say and when to stop. Just the right things written can have an unimaginable impact.
2. Know your paper stock and coating.
Talk to your printer about this. They should be able to help and guide you about your choice of stock and coating. They will advise you on which will reflect best on your brand and also which stock and coating is durable and sturdy, if that is what you need.
3. Use high resolution photos.
Don’t just download images from online sources and paste them on to your design. Consult a photographer. Get their input and collaborate with them to produce good photography. This is how most people will remember (or forget) your product.
4. Focus on the Reader.
Don’t try to hard sell your brand, products or services. Be kind and attentive towards the reader and focus on what they might want to hear. What are the benefits of associating with your brand? What’s in it for them? These are the things people truly want to hear. Also, be direct with any hidden costs you may have. Clients will not appreciate deception.
5. Include A Simple Call to Action.
A gentle nudge in the direction of where you want your readers to head is always a big help. Don’t be pushy. Just a simple encouragement to make a call or visit your website should do the trick.
These simple tips will help you get a brochure that clients will remember you by.
